When I booked my service, the BMW procedure I hadn't established from the car the exact service requirements, I was quoted 4 hrs. When I took the car, it only required an oil and filter change and Stratstones did the service while I waited, great.
The egr fault was sorted in one visit as i expected.
Car was in for repair for longer than would have expected. Although I do recognise intermittent faults are difficult. My repair had to be instructed by BMW direct which I feel prolonged the service. Whilst waiting on replies.

Due to the aforementioned delay also when ringing later in the afternoon to check car was ready took around 30 minutes to get a reply.

The entire process is without doubt faultless
A new part was required which wasn't in stock. This delayed completion of work. But the problem was identified, the work carried out efficiently, staff were helpful and informative and the car was returned sparkling clean.
My vehicle fault was diagnosed and rectified within one day, communication is excellent

CAR RETURNED WITH TWO MILES LEFT OF FUEL WHEN BROUGHT TO THE GARAGE WITH PLENTY T OF FUEL. CAR HAD DONE SEVERAL ADDITIONAL MILES WHEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS BEING FIXED ON SITE. WHY? NO RESPONSE GIVEN AS TO WHY & STILL WAITING.
Mistakes had been made by the booking in team and it was booked in at Hull. The staff at chesterfield excelled and made sure the car was still serviced etc.

Completely satisfied only because if I chose different the poor sales exec wouldn't get paid. The sales managers and business manager need a lesson in customer service and team work! They clearly don't speak to each other, so my handover was a mess.

Initial contact and test drive was great. Was treated much better by BMW as a motability customer than other manufacturer dealerships visited. Kept well informed during the build process. Only disappointment was collection day.
Dealt with 3 separate sales advisors.Not advised that one of the team had left, and was asking for updates on brand new car and all emails were ignored...No communication at all, When collecting car, tax was not on car, and navigation was not set up

Unfortunately 2 staff members left the employment of Stratstone and another promoted during my order period. This left one member of staff to deal with 4 persons work load and consequently my collection date was delayed at the the last minute.
I was kept informed about delivery date. As for the purchase, we agreed a price that was satisfactory to both parties
I dealt with 2 sales staff. In both cases product knowledge could have been better and showed the need for training. I also bought the 3 year service pack and was surprised not to be given a policy number or any other documentation for the pack.
Have bought a number of cars through the Chesterfield dealership and always found the sales staff to be very knowledgeable, friendly and interested in providing answers to any question posed.
There were some issues with the contact process after purchase but before delivery (2 people I was dealing with leaving the dealership). However, Ian was able to get things sorted and Sam was brilliant during the final stages and handover.
